Dhow Palace Hotel
This small yet luxurious hotel is situated in the heart of Zanzibar’s historic Stone Town, where East meets West. The hotel lounge has an impressive selection of antique ornaments and furniture, and adds to the relaxed ambiance that is a Dhow Palace trademark. The Roof-top restaurant offers a variety of seafood, local and international cuisine as well as panoramic views of Zanzibar’s Stone Town and the Indian Ocean. Its 16 self-contained and spacious rooms are furnished with traditional Sultan-size four-poster beds. All rooms are comfortably equipped, and tastefully appointed with Zanzibari artifacts. Mtoni Marine is located on the west coast of Zanzibar, 10 minutes north of Stone Town and neighboring the legendary Mtoni Palace. This laid back and family friendly hotel is the ideal location from which to explore Stone Town and the rest of the island, while providing a peaceful retreat from it all. Set in botanic gardens by the ocean, the Mbweni Ruins Hotel is 10 minutes from Stone Town or from the Airport but is an oasis of peace to return to after your busy day. Prices are reasonable and the emphasis is on giving you good value while maintaining high standards of service. Mbweni offers accommodation for no more than 30 guests. All the rooms are air-conditioned, with ceiling fans and louvred windows to the balcony. They are furnished in exotic Zanzibar style and every room has views of the Indian Ocean and of the gardens.

This small family run beach hotel is situated on the north-western coast of Zanzibar island, on the beautiful turquoise coastline of Nungwi. A warm welcome awaits you. The hotel lies within a private tropical garden, which fronts the famous north-west coast beaches. We offer comfortable accommodation in a tranquil setting. Each room is en-suite with A/C with its own entrance and its own shady veranda. At Flame Tree Cottages we believe in a responsibility to the community and as such, the majority of our staff is from the local village of Nungwi. Much of the furniture you will find at Flame Tree Cottages has been made by a local carpenter. Local labour was used for the construction of Flame Tree Cottages.


Fundu Lagoon
Fundu Lagoon is a remote and peaceful resort, only accessible by boat. Set on a beautiful beach on the south west of Pemba island, it is privately owned and run with a love for the natural environment that surrounds it; the epitome of shabby chic – stylish, cosseting and totally relaxed. Mafia Island
14 Superior rooms, 18 Standard rooms and 2 Family rooms are set among the coconut palms with their own veranda overlooking the bay. They are all self-contained with air conditioning. Twin and double beds are available. Among the 35 rooms there are 2 family rooms with a living room. Hot and cold water is available 24 hours a day. The main lodge has a relaxing atmosphere with a large open restaurant, bar and lounge area. Board games, table tennis and volleyball are also available.

Surrounded by 1.4 kilometers of glorious white beaches and ringed by 10 kilometers coral reef, Fanjove Island it is the very best of the Indian Ocean. The lodge is still under construction. The bandas are ready, yet the old lighthouse still has to be converted in reception and dining area. Opening will be in December 12.
