Lake Manze
Hidden beneath a shaded canopy of tall doum palms, in one of the Selous’ richest areas for wildlife, Lake Manze Adventure Camp is magnificently located on the shores of its namesake, the breathtaking Lake Manze. The camp maintains a simple, natural feel, and its rustic charm is reminiscent of the safari camps of days gone by.


Mdonya Old River Camp
At Mdonya you never feel like an intruder. Designed with a conscious desire to remain simple, the camp’s rustic setting makes you feel closely connected to the natural environment. And the wildlife obviously feel the same way about you: they wander through the camp as if it’s just another step in their journey. A beautifully secluded tented camp surrounded by woodland along the course of the old Mdonya riverbed, offering 12 double tents, convertible to triples and 2 into family tents accommodating 4 – 5 guests if required. All tents provide en suite bathrooms with solar heated hot water, and a private polished floor veranda. Communal dining takes place under a large open-sided tent for breakfast and lunch, with dinner served under the stars. An excellent menu is created weekly, using all locally grown fresh produce, with a wide selection for vegetarians. A very comfortable lounge offering a wide range of wildlife reading materials, tea + coffee throughout the day, and an open fireplace for sundowners and after dinner drinks


Mikumi Safari Camps
Vuma Hills has 16 tents set up in the hills to the south of the park overlooking the shimmering planes of Mikumi. ‘Vuma’ means rumour spread by the wind – now more than just a rumour, the camp is centred around the dining room, bar and swimming pool. Game drives are taken in adapted 4WD vehicles, and the expert guides have axcellent local knowledge on the faune and flora of Mikumi National Park.


A unique leisure and shopping enclave along Dar’s waterfront at Msasani Bay, offering a broad range of shops, boutiques and local curio market, as well as supermarket, pharmacy, beauty salon, bank, travel agency and book shop. Now also a new hotel, and a selection of some of Dar’s best dining out spots, ranging from wood-fired pizzas to Japanese delicacies, and a large atmospheric terrace from which to enjoy a drink and meal while watching the sun set into the Indian Ocean. Parents can set their children loose in our waterfront playground.

The adjoining jetty provides the starting point for boat cruises to the beautiful nearby Bongoyo Island, as well as other cruises. A pool is under construction. Essentially all the best that Dar Es Salaam has to offer ‘under one roof’. Travelers can take a break in our comfortable, fully equipped guest rooms: air conditioning, TV, internet. Twin, double or triple bed configuration can be arranged. If you’re heading home or moving on to a new destination, our staff can arrange transport to and from the airport for you.
